ABOUT US

ABOUT US. OUR MISSION.
OUR MISSION IS TO SIMPLY LEAD EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO THE LOVE AND SAVING KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST.

SERVICE TIMES:
SUNDAY 10AM | WEDNESDAY 7PM

We believe in the full authority of Scriptures as the inspired Word of God. We believe in The Trinity; God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and The Holy Spirit. We believe that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to carry the weight and sin of this world. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sin. And we believe that Jesus rose from the grave and is coming again. We trust and believe that our salvation is found in Jesus through grace by faith and in the finished work of the cross. Our team is dedicated to serving you and making your experience at Cornerstone Church rich and rewarding. We are sold out for God and our passion to proclaim the Gospel can be seen in everything we do. We hope that our words and actions point to Jesus. Cornerstone is proud to have an amazing team of ministry workers and volunteers with a common goal and vision; to show all the unconditional love of Jesus.
DARRYL SMITH
FOUNDER & SENIOR PASTOR
After years of missionary work and serving as a Worship Leader, Darryl Smith, following after the leading of Holy Spirit, founded Cornerstone Church in January of 1992. With only 5 family members in attendance Pastor Darryl held the first ever service for Cornerstone. Now 25 years later and with a continual vision for growth, prosperity and a heart for people, Pastor Darryl has become a visionary for change in the Flour Bluff Community and surrounding areas.
PEOPLE
Cornerstone is a place full of rich diversity and we love it that way. Our congregation is full of diverse families and individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life but who all have one common goal in mind – to worship our Creator and to see His name glorified. No matter who you are, what you’ve done or where you’ve been there is a place for you at Cornerstone.
PRAISE & WORSHIP
Worship is a vital part of who we are at Cornerstone. We love that whether worship is coming from a place of despair or thankfulness, God’s response to us is always the same. When we worship we are choosing to move beyond the things that are in front us and declaring that no matter what we are facing that God is a good God and that He always will be.
